We are currently looking for a Content Expert (Full-time) to join our team in Vienna or remotely.


The opportunity:

We are currently hiring for a Content Expert to join our growing global Content & Brand Strategy team. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in creating compelling, inspiring content and expertise in measuring its impact across the full marketing funnel, from awareness down to conversions. Ideally you’ll be based in our Vienna office and will frequently collaborate with your colleagues in Brisbane and Toronto. Remote work for this position may be available for the right candidate.


Your responsibilities:

You will be part of the growing global Content & Brand Strategy team at TourRadar, reporting into the Head of Content. This position will be focused on supporting our Marketing & Product organizations with content creation across email, social media, website & other various editorial needs. The scope of projects vary in size, from weekly marketing emails to co-branded larger marketing campaigns to longer travel editorial pieces published publicly on behalf of TourRadar. 


Some of the projects you will be working on:

  • Write compelling English copy for a variety of channels (magazine, CRM, SoMe, etc.) at native level
  • Conceptualize and collaborate with the Content Team to bring forth communication solutions fitting briefs, budgets and their own high standards
  • Closely collaborate with other creatives, including Designers, Motion Designers, Product Designers, SM Managers, Strategists, Video Editors, etc.
  • Develop integrated campaign platforms and creative ideas that can be implemented within all relevant channels
  • Storyboard and develop video scripts
  • Ensure that the TourRadar brand story is expressed verbally across all touch points
  • Comfortably and confidently present concepts and copy to stakeholders
  • Mentor and manage mid-weight and junior creatives
  • Project manage day-to-day tasks in Asana for the Creative Lab (Content Team)
  • Strong SEO knowledge with proven track record of results
  • Able to lead small to midsize campaign streams on their own
  • Stay current with new creative trends, technologies, and digital advancements


Who you are:

  • Have full proficiency in English (native or expert level is required)
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications or other relevant major
  • Have 5+ years experience as a digital copywriter, journalist, editor or similar
  • Have a solid grasp of writing for SEO
  • Experience in the travel industry or adventure travel is a massive plus.
  • Have experience measuring content impact (IE looking at conversion data, engagement metrics, etc)
  • Be comfortable with various data sources and with digging deep to understand the path to conversion for your content
  • Ability to think strategically beyond the day-to-day role in order to impact TourRadar’s future brand success
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, Google Analytics and/or similar
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new technology and multitask
  • A can-do, enthusiastic attitude and being a great team player is an absolute must!
