We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Vienna office to manage key Accounts in the DACH Region. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Development - EMEA. In this role, you should love working in a fast-paced tech environment, enjoy challenges, relish working independently and most importantly love to travel!

The role: 

  • You will be responsible for providing business support for partners in the DACH region (including but not limited to sales initiatives, cancellations, and complaints) as well as improving operator visibility and success on the TourRadar platform through ongoing support and training.
  • You will be involved in the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives for market expansion, with a focus on operator onboarding and sales growth in the DACH region.
  • You will develop an understanding of cloud-based software systems and you will be expected to develop, through training, knowledge of the rudimentaries of XML feeds and booking APIs.
  • You will provide feedback and direction on priorities, as well as reporting to the Head of Business Development EMEA for progress updates and escalation for issues  
  • As TourRadar’s ambassador, you will help increase brand awareness while supporting training for operators, as well as servicing of accounts.
  • You will liaise with our international teams for marketing, design, technology and more to ensure that pending tasks and projects for operations are tracking to complete in a timely manner
  • You will have the chance to develop experiences as a travel professional to shape TourRadar and your own future growth within the team
  • Maintaining and communicating an understanding of the products offered by TourRadar, and TourRadar partners across the globe, will help you to lead the team towards excellent supply solutions.
  • You will actively maintain knowledge of the TourRadar systems to enable you to develop training materials, newsletters and other content to support the team, tour operators, affiliates, and travellers.
  • Customer service is key as we connect new partners, on­board their inventory and train their team. You will work with existing partners and develop new relationships with partners.


Who you are: 

  • 3 years experience minimum in a customer-facing role
  • Fluent German speaker 
  • Previous experience in Business Development and Account Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate directly in person and online
  • Comfort working for a tech­forward company including the regular usage of tracking, monitoring, project and CRM software
  • Personal and/or professional travel experience to areas in which TourRadar sells
  • Natural self-starter, able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capacities
  • As we’re constantly changing and we move quickly, you’ll thrive in this type of environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Passion for the travel industry and enthusiasm to learn
